Alabama Beekeepers Association Beekeeper of the Year for 2009

Each year the Alabama Beekeepers Association awards the honor of "Beekeeper of the Year" to the one Association members that has shown the most outstanding leadership and has made the most significant contribution to beekeeping in the state of Alabama.

The award was presented to Lonnie at the October 10, 2009 awards dinner at the state beekeeper convention in Montgomery.    Way to go Lonnie and thanks for the long hours and hard work you invested in the Alabama Beekeeper Association in 2009 and previous years and for continuing to do so today.
